What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser to remember something between one page and the next. Some are set by this site; others are set by a third party from its own domain.
Our approach
This site works fully without measurement cookies. None is set before you accept: while there is no decision, no third-party resource is loaded at all, not even to ask.
We do not use a third-party consent manager either. The notice you see is ours and sends nothing anywhere.
Which cookies you may find
Necessary
Without them the site cannot remember your decision. They require no consent because they exist only to honour it.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
sort_consent | sort.com.uy | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected measurement. | 6 months |
Audience measurement
LinkedIn sets these when you accept. They let us learn which content is useful and measure how our ads perform. LinkedIn sets them on its own domain: this site can neither read nor delete them, which is why the only real lever is not loading the tool.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
li_sugr | linkedin.com | Browser identifier LinkedIn uses to estimate audiences. | 90 days |
bcookie | linkedin.com | LinkedIn browser identifier. | 1 year |
lidc | linkedin.com | Selects which LinkedIn data centre serves the request. | 1 day |
UserMatchHistory | linkedin.com | Associates the visit with LinkedIn advertising campaigns. | 30 days |
AnalyticsSyncHistory | linkedin.com | Records synchronisation with the LinkedIn identifier. | 30 days |
li_gc | linkedin.com | Stores consent state on the LinkedIn side. | 6 months |
You can change your mind at any time from this page. If you reject after having accepted, we reload the page to stop the tool; cookies LinkedIn already set are removed from your browser settings, because they belong to its domain and not to ours.
Blocking all cookies in your browser breaks nothing on this site: we simply lose the record of your decision and the notice appears again.
Personal data processing is described in the Privacy policy. Questions: info@sort.com.uy.
